Process

The RAS Process, from egg to harvest.

 

Step 1 – Hatching of salmon eggs received every 2 months

Step 2 – Quarantine and pre-smolt phase of growing salmon

Step 3 – Smolt phase growing fish to 100-150 grams

Step 4 – Grow-out phase growing fish to harvest size (average 4,5 kilos)

Step 5 – Final purge phase to remove any off-flavor

Step 6 – Processing delivering gutted fish and filets

Step 7 – Waste resource recycling to produce protein and energy.
